STEPS Assessment

As of June 2024, the Armed Forces Heritage Museum has qualified at the “Basic/Bronze” level for all six (6) categories of the AASLH Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations (STEPS) self assessment process.

The six (6) categories are; Mission/Vision/Governance, Audience, Interpretation, Stewardship of Collections, Stewardship of Historic Structures and Landscapes, and Management.
