Located in our nation’s Capital area, Walter Rossbach has pioneered integrated or “seamless’ communications for a myriad of aviation, space and defense clients over the past 50 years, amply demonstrating the unique power of coordinated business-to-business aerospace communications.

Walt, semi retired, currently serves as Communications Consultant to the University of Tennessee’s Aerospace and Defense MBA Program headquartered in Knoxville and Oak Ridge, TN; a position he has held since participating in the formation of our nation’s only A&D MBA Program 11 years ago.

He was president of the Aerospace and Defense Public Relations and Advertising Group in McLean, VA, and the Summit Group in Reston, VA and Summit, NJ. Walter developed and lead successful comprehensive international and domestic programs for : The Battle of Normandy Museum in Caen, France; The Smithsonian Air & Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Facility at Dulles; NASA; Boeing Computer Services; Airbus of North America; Arianespace; CFM Engines-GE and SNECMA; US Dept. of Commerce US Pavilion at Paris Air Show; McGraw-Hill’s Feasibility Study of a US Air Show; ITT Defense; Harris Corp.; SAAB Aircraft; Dornier Aircraft; Kaman Helicopter; Fairchild Republic; HAI, The Helicopter Association Intl.; The National Space Institute; Iridium Satellite; Rockwell Collins; Fairchild Fasteners; AIA, the Aerospace Industries Association; The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics; and the STEM Initiative to students throughout the nation.

Walter was a principle and founder of the influential Government Executive Magazine, now expanded with National Journal in Washington, DC, while also creating the Helicopter Annual and other notable aerospace publications. He was vice president, aerospace communications, at the Airline Pilots Association (ALPA), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).

He is an accomplished organist, choral director and tenor soloist; freely sharing his talents in churches, cathedrals and organizations throughout much of the world. He has performed at the White House and hundreds of assemblies of international religious leaders. Walt is a product of Queens College, CUNY, and the Juilliard School, both in New York City.

Walter is a member of AFHHM and serves as a consultant in communications & community relations.
