July 10, 1778 – George Washington, Lafayette and Alexander Hamilton picnic at the Great Falls
in Passaic. Hamilton would later create the nation’s first industrial city in Paterson, using the
power of the falls to generate energy to run the factories. After the picnic, Washington
headquarters at the Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus
